Nextivity Scalable, Carrier-Grade Enterprise 5G Solution for Large Spaces

The CEL-FI QUATRA 100M is a high-performance cellular coverage solution designed for single-operator network coverage expansion, supporting 5G and Private 5G deployments. It delivers ultra-fast 100MHz connectivity, lossless fiber-based signal distribution, and seamless scalability with daisy-chained Coverage Units (CUs). Designed for efficiency, it allows converging IoT gateways via CUs supporting PoE, reducing complexity and cost of site networks. 

The upgraded models add support for additional bands, including FirstNet and CBRS:

Nextivity DAS support various IoT technologies including for quick deployment of off-the-shelf and proprietary sensing applications.

Flexible Signal Source

Off-Air or Small Cell

A QUATRA 100M system can be deployed in Supercell Mode, where the QUATRA® system is obtaining its signal from a small cell. In Supercell Mode, the QUATRA manages the uniform distribution of the small cell signal throughout the site, creating a single robust Supercell-enhanced signal source that covers the entire building.

Any QUATRA® system in Supercell Mode is more efficient than multiple small cells as it ensures coverage signals do not interfere with each other and that call drops due to handover are eliminated.

Supercell Mode is useful in densely populated buildings where additional capacity is needed, creating a scalable solution at a fraction of the cost of legacy DAS.

System Components

A QUATRA 100M installation contains:

  • 1 Network Unit per operator
  • 1 donor antenna per operator
  • 1-12 Coverage Units
  • Power Units, as needed, for NUs/CUs
  • Server antennas to distribute signal -OR-
    SMART SERVER ANTENNAs to distribute signal and create IoT network. Each CU supports 4-7 antennas
  • Coax, Category, and Fiber Optic cables
  • Splitters, couplers, and other accessories as needed
